Eastbound and Down Acoustic Duo are a professional guitar and vocal duo based in Nottingham, they cover a wide range of musical styles and perform acoustic versions of popular songs from the 50’s right through to the present day. All of the music, vocals and harmonies are performed completely live, not a single backing track in sight, this enables them to perform all songs in their own inimitable style.
About Eastbound and Down
Eastbound and Down Acoustic Duo are made up of Paul Laine and Jack Donald (ALCM DipLCM)
Paul is a professional entertainer, musician and vocal coach, he has worked the Cabaret and Club circuits throughout the whole of the British Isles for the past 25 years as well as many Holiday Parks, Corporate Events, Weddings and Private Parties.
Jack is a professional session guitarist, gigging musician and guitar teacher, who also plays the bass guitar, ukulele and piano. Jack has worked with numerous local and countrywide artistes and recently had the lead guitarist role in the highly acclaimed smash hit touring theatre show ‘Bobby Socks and Blue Jeans’ featuring Kytsun Wolfe, he has also deputised in the ultimate tribute band ‘The Commitments’ and regularly accompanies on the guitar students from Julie Donald’s Music School who are taking their singing and music theatre graded examinations through the London College of Music.
By combining both their talents as accomplished musicians and entertainers, Eastbound and Down Acoustic Duo was formed, they perform with a top of the range digital PA system ensuring that the sound is paramount for all. With their own style and takes on many of the classic songs they perform, they are getting rave reviews at every gig.
